Sangria Slushie for any occassion

Do you like sangria? Haha, just kidding, that is not even a real question because of course you do! There is not a human on this planet who wouldn’t love to sit outside sipping away on a ice-cold glass of sweet sangria. (I’m sure there are robots who don’t like it because it makes them short circuit, but let’s not worry about them right now.) Sangria is good pretty much any time of day or night, but it’s particularly great for all types of parties.
So you might wonder where my love affair for Sangria stems from? It’s all quite simple really. Sangria for me is a perfect representation of my friends and summertime. my best friend is a little Italian fireball and her family own my favourite restaurant on the south coast of South Africa. Every December us group of girlfriends make our way down to the coast and have a relaxed holiday and indulge in our favourite beverage. Sangria slushie. A speciality only they make. It feels like its exclusively our drink! My friends are now scattered all over the world and on cold winter days like these when I’m drowning in work I wish for those Summer days at the coast downing a Sangria slushie.

Regardless of what occasion you’re marking, you’ll obviously want to include sangria in the festivities.  I’m just going to let you take a minute to imagine how wonderful it would feel to experience the sensation of chilled, slushy sweet red wine melting in your mouth… Are you sold? Then please come along with me on this journey to the heart of deliciousness and friendship!
